Nikovelvet Labs Episode 2 Doing anything and meeting anyone, in the name of peace…

Armenian Prime Minister Nikovelvet:

‘Shady, dangerous, and harmful forces connected to the old regime in Armenia are saying that I went to Turkey because of international pressure, and that the Turkish President will visit us soon on his own. Yes, one of us has kept his moustache and the other has shaved off his beard, but is that a good enough reason to make up unlikely theories about what we want to do? You know full well that my political will and the will of the governments that came before me don’t matter. Why should the term “political will” be used in our country?

When I took power, I told you that I didn’t want to hear some people asking for certain things and others seeking certain objectives.

On the other hand, my only concern since the Velvet Revolution has been to establish unconditional regional peace.

You can call me a traitor if you want, but I say to you in French, ‘Je suis un artisan de paix…’ I only care about helping the devil.

I don’t know right from wrong. I’m lost in thought, and it’s like I’m drowning.

If I could be recognized as a peacemaker and win the Nobel Prize, I would know that I had made a difference.’
